Project Wrecked is a personal project. It publishes writing and datasets for free. There is nothing to buy here, so these terms cover use of the site and its data rather than any sale.
The shop is closed
We previously sold digital templates through this site. Those products were retired in July 2026 and are no longer available. If you bought something before then, your licence to use those files continues on the terms that applied at the time of purchase, and you can reach us at the address below with any question about it.
Using the writing
Articles and guides remain our copyright. Quote them, cite them, and link to the source page. Do not republish them wholesale or pass them off as your own.
Using the data
The public datasets — the Wreck Index, Bot Ledger, Platform Ledger, Adoption Ledger and Threat Ledger — are free to use, including commercially, with attribution to projectwrecked.com and a link to the source page.
Where a dataset incorporates third-party data we say so on the page and carry the original licence with it. Adoption figures come from the Vercel AI Gateway leaderboards under CC BY 4.0; deprecation dates draw on public vendor announcements and open trackers. Their terms apply to their data.
No warranty, and please use judgement
Everything here is provided as is. The datasets are measurements from one small website, gathered automatically, and they carry the sampling limits described on each page. Rate figures, failure benchmarks and deprecation dates are research inputs, not professional advice. Do not make a contractual, financial or security decision on our numbers alone. Verify against the vendor before you rely on it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Project Wrecked accepts no liability for any loss arising from use of this site or its data.
Automated access
Crawling and automated reading are welcome, and we log them in public at the Bot Ledger. Be reasonable about request rates. Requests to paths we do not publish are recorded in the Threat Ledger, in aggregate and without storing addresses.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Changes are published here with a new effective date.
